Hi Beverly! Thanks for coming by my blog! My Gooch family comes straight from England, my grandfather came over around the 1940's I think. I have only ever come across one other Gooch family, the wife was a local reverend, so I always got the "Are you the reverends daughter?" It is always fun to hear of other Gooch's out there!
I did not have the good fortune of having siblings. My mother had a stillbirth and a premature baby before and after me. I have always admired families who love to be together.
And now I know what YOU look like! Beverly, thanks for reading my blog, and thanks for commenting so that I know you read it!
Yes, it is strange that we can feel so close to people we have never met - and then when we do meet - it is like we have known each other all our lives. Strange, but wonderful!

P.S. I forgot to mention about Captain Cook - my mom was descended from him.
