My sweet Shelby girl went to doggie heaven on October 20, 2011. I have not been able to write about it. She was my velcro dog. At home, she was right by me....always! It has been very lonely without her. I miss her so much.
Beverly, I am so sorry. My Callie is the same with me. When I go somewhere and return - it grabs my heart - there she is sitting in the middle of the drive waiting for me. Whether it is raining or sun is shining. Miss your post... Take care.

So sorry, Beverly. I know how hard it was to lose my cat after so many years. I can't imagine losing a dog who has been by your side for so long.
