Happy Birthday Mother
Today is my Mother's birthday. She would have been 97 years old. Last night I remembered that when the boys
and I would visit, she made bacon and toast made in the oven, not a toaster. Funny how these small memories
mean so much to me now. She loved doing things for her family.
I posted this on Facebook. I got a reply from my cousin who still lives in my hometown. She said, "I still miss and think about Aunt Estelle a lot. My first horse cost $100.00 and I had saved $75.00. She gave me the last $25.00 so I could get him. She was a special lady and I loved her. Happy Birthday Aunt Estelle". My cousin now has Hoofbeats of Hope. You never know how something small you do can have an impact years later.....
I miss her still.....
