Happy New Year

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year.
2008 will be a wonderful year, because when you think about it, we are alive and have a new year to get things right. That is why I have thought about living a more simple life. I feel like all I do is work and sleep, or work and get sick, so why not call it living simple. No, not really. As you know if you follow this little blog, that I am kidding. What I do have is a simple blog. HaHa, kidding again.

However I am not kidding about living simple. I want to make an effort to make the world a better place for my grandchildren. I do not want to leave a big carbon footprint behind. I want my grandchildren and future generations to have a wonderful place to grow up in. I am one who does not believe I can change the world from going through it's natural processes, but I can do things to keep it healthy. I want to learn ways I can help beyond recycling cans, bottles, plastic. I have only started learning about eating locally, reuse more, repair rather than just throw it out, and many more things I know will help. I also want to teach my grandchildren what all I learn.

Let's have a toast to the New Year...
