Hummingbird Festival

Lily and I went
to the Hummingbird Festival
outside Holly Springs, MS.
She got to hold one and
release it after it was banded.

His little heartbeat was
250 beats per minute.

We also saw bats and
snakes.

It was at Strawberry Plains
Davis Plantation. We will show those
pictures later....

Our self-photography...the
last picture...

Facinating. Wish I could hold one of the many hummingbirds that are flying in my garden.
The picture is priceless!!! Frame it and look at it often.

I was holding the hose while watering one day and a hummingbird came over and drank from the water coming out of the end of my hose. That's a close as I have ever been to one. Lily must have been thrilled to feel that tiny heartbeat.

Enlarge and frame the photo and put it in a prominent place and you will treasure it for years.
