My grandson did not want to talk at first. He chose to communicate with screams. His mother always told him, ForFor Use Your Words. When trying to name my little blog I thought of this. I am after all, trying to put my thoughts down to tell you about my life. I thought to myself, Beverly-Use Your Words.

After putting her grandchildren to bed, a grandmother changed into old slacks and a droopy blouse and proceeded to wash her hair. As she heard the children getting more and more rambunctious, her patience grew thin. Finally, she threw a towel around her head and stormed into their room, putting them back to bed with stern warnings. As she left the room, she heard the three-year-old say with a trembling voice, 'Who was THAT?'

  • I always write a good first line, but I have trouble in writing the others. Moliere
  • We have not inherited the earth from our fathers. We are borrowing it from our children. Native American Saying
  • Grandmas are moms with lots of frosting.
  • Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children. Alex Haley
