YES HE DID

I am very excited for our country. I have remained quiet about the campaign. However, I am very happy today. I have respect for John McCain for all he sacrificed for his country. But, he lost me with Sarah Palin. I admired Obama's steady, constant walk forward, keeping his eye on the future of our country. I really believe he will be the President for ALL the people...

I will now return to my life as a grandmother.....

Indeed he did! I was late in supporting him and finally decided that I couldn't risk McCain or his trash-mouthed running mate. Obama's speech last night was excellent and won a lot of hearts. Now he has to deliver.

I'm glad you stopped by. I am woefully bad at visiting but am getting better as I slowly but surely keep adding people to my "I follow" list. You will be joining that list presently so I'll be coming around more.

Grandmothering is more fun, anyway! Glad things turned out the way you wished.

The election is always so imortant that it totally drains us...especially us older folks who are concerned about what we leave behind. At least it is OVER.

Great words. I agree, McCain did himself no favor with his running mate, much as I think he tried to make a good decision.

So what do you take for an election hangover?

I had hoped that I could put politics behind me now that Obama is our President-Elect, but this mornings news got me stirred up again. I guess I will always be a political animal.
