FINAL FOUR

Way to go Memphis Tigers. They are in the Final Four. My boys and I and a few hundred thousand people are soooo happy. They beat Texas by 18 points. Yeah!!!

My day was going so wonderful until I went out my new storm door and locked me and Shelby the dog outside. There I was in my nightgown, new storm doors locked up tighter than a tick, electric gate in "not budging one bit mode", and no one around. No cell phone to call anyone, no windows that could be broken, not that I should do that since I take an injection of heparin every day. Neighbor on right not at home, ones on the left would never hear me screaming. What's a girl to do??? When what to my wondering eyes did appear, a lone neighbor jogging down the street. Help me, I scream. He looked at me and said no way lady. No, no, no he didn't say that at all. He did look somewhat surprised to see me there in my nightgown and robe, but he came to my rescue. Only thing was, who has an extra key? Not my children, not a neighbor, no one...BooHooHoo.
All of a sudden I thought of Gaylon, the young man working on the house. I called him and HE WAS HOME. He came over in a flash to open the doors and I got to play with his 5 month old baby boy and four year old daughter. If you know anything about me, it is how much I love children. So, it wasn't such a bad day after all. And, hey Memphis is going to the Final Four. Did I tell you that before???

Congratulations! That is just so exciting. If I were there, I'd be cheering along with you! Go, Memphis!

That must have been so frustrating for you to be locked out. I'm glad you had a good solution.

I did that in Nov. in PJ's and slippers, rainy day. Now I keep a set of keys at each door which I clasp in my hand if even just getting the newspaper:)Glad you got in.

Oh Beverly, that is awful about getting locked out. What a terrible feeling. I have done it, too and one time it cost me $15.00 to get a locksmith to let me in! That was after walking in nightclothes to a plumbing business down the street and having to walk in and plead for help....it was also snowing. EGADZ...now I have extra measures in place so I cannot get locked out again!!

Great about your basketball team!
