Today would have been #41. Yes, 41 years. Two beautiful boys and three wonderful grandchildren later, I am very glad we were.
I look at old pictures and cannot believe what we created. Life does not get any better.

You are blessed with such a good looking and loving family. No, life does not get better than looking back and seeing how it all turned out.

I am assuming you are a widow. I don't remember reading about your loss, but am assuming it was fairly recent. It is bittersweet when the anniversary rolls around, isn't it?

We all have so much to be thankful for including all those wonderful children and grandchildren that make up our family.

You are so very right! bob and I feel so blessed that our kids are healthy and happy and that we have two wonderful grandgirls that are the apple of our eyes! It's just that time if flying by and they are growing up too fast for us. I am greatly sorry for your loss...debbie

Hi Beverly,
I wanted to thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog.
I "popped" by to see yours, and the first thing that showed was the wonderful header picture-I instantly smiled. What LOVELY photos you have. I look forward to many mornings with coffee following you.

Darlene, No I am not a widow. I just may write and express sadness about my marriages. Yes I have had two.

Even though something can bring sadness, it also has brought extreme happiness. I try to remember the happiness and am reminded of it every time I see my children and grandchildren.

I have been feeling that more and more as time goes on. The paradox of happiness and sadness all rolled into one. It used to be so simple. You'd be happy or sad. Now they seem to co-exist in many of our experiences.

Enjoy those lovely children and grandkids. We are truly blessed.
