Grove High School

This is where I went to high school. It was funded by E.W.Grove of the Grove's Chill Tonic fame. Needless to say, this is from it's beginning days. When I got there it had bushes all around it. I entered in the door on the right. They say you can see all the way to Paris Landing (17 miles away). Seniors could go up the tower as a treat. They stopped it by the time I was a senior....

What a classic building. They tore my high scool down this year but they are building a new one which will have the columns, etc. I live just a few blocks away so I've been watching the progtess. Time will tell if it is a replica or not.

I love your header too.

My high school was just a little brick house in the small town. This one looks much more historic. That little girl in the tree is a gem.

I like going back and looking at old pictures. Your granddaughter looks just like you. Have a good week.
